Rentals Inside Sales Pro with Commission

Tejas Equipment Rentals is looking for a driven, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. As the voice of Tejas, you'll build meaningful relationships with customers, grow rental and sales revenue, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience on every interaction. This is an on-site, hourly position with commission incentives - your effort directly impacts your earnings. What you'll do Serve as the primary point of contact for customers - managing inquiries, quotes, and ongoing account needs Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive, consistent communication Drive rental and sales revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and contract extensions Create, present, and follow up on quotes and proposals Meet or exceed OEC (Original Equipment Cost) targets Log all customer interactions accurately in our system of record Collaborate with branch managers, operations, and logistics for smooth delivery and invoicing Support outside sales reps (OSRs) in the field as needed Address customer concerns and coordinate solutions across teams Stay current on product knowledge, pricing, and company policies What we're looking for Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a drive to hit and exceed sales goals Ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented - accurate record-keeping matters here Team player who works well with operations, logistics, and field sales Prior sales or customer service experience preferred; equipment rental or construction industry experience a plus Compensation & perks Competitive hourly pay with commission incentives - the more you sell, the more you earn.
