Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab PRN North Alabama Medical Center (part of Lifepoint Health) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Labs. The RN will provide clinical care before, during and after cardiac procedures. Role Overview As a cardiac catheterization lab RN, you will utilize your plan‑of‑care skills to support complex cardiovascular interventions, including angiography, angioplasty and electrophysiology studies. You will monitor hemodynamics, administer medications, and coordinate patient care with physicians and allied health staff. Key Responsibilities Initiate and continue nursing care for patients before, during and after cardiac procedures. Administer drugs and medications as ordered. Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret monitoring data. Setup equipment and prepare the cardiac procedure environment. Exercise clinical judgment in assessing patient condition and implementing appropriate interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support certification. 1–3 years of nursing experience in a cardiac or critical care setting. Schedule PRN – days as needed.
