Press Assistant
Our client, an industry leader in printing and publishing, is seeking a Press Assistant to join their team. As a Press Assistant, you will be part of the production department supporting the press operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Press Assistant
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Pay Range: $14.5
Shift: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Preparing plates for the press to ensure smooth printing operations
- Assisting the Press Operator in placing plates on the press equipment
- Monitoring the press during operation to maintain quality standards
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the production process

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work the specified shift hours
