Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (rotating day off) | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Weekday and weekend call rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Function as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), with primary focus on vascular and open heart/thoracic cases
• Scrub a wide variety of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, and Vascular procedures
• Adapt between CSFA and CST roles depending on unit needs and case assignments
• Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain attentiveness throughout all procedures
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification required
• NBSTSA Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical First Assistant
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing in on thoracic, vascular, and open heart cases
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to function in both CSFA and CST capacities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Robotics training or experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Experience across a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, and GYN
