Responsibilities:

The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist collaborates with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures while monitoring and documenting hemodynamics.
Ensures that all equipment is operational and troubleshoots any issues to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic examinations.
Maintains current knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technologies as well as hemodynamics to effectively assist physicians.
Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a professional and respectful atmosphere.
Engages in the training and mentoring of new employees and students.

Qualifications:Job Requirements:

Must possess a current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or be a Registered Radiologic Technologist certified by the ARRT.
BLS certification is required to be obtained within 14 days of hiring or transferring into this role, prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

At least one year of experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting.
