We are looking for engineers who want to help drive innovation and operational excellence in advanced memory manufacturing.As an Implant Process Engineer, you will own the development, optimization, and sustainment of ion implantation processes supporting high‑volume manufacturing. You will partner closely with equipment, integration, yield, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust process performance, yield stability, and safe execution in a fast‑paced fab environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn ion implantation process development and sustainment, including process specs, control plans, and inline metric targetsDrive yield and defect improvements using SPC, data analysis, and structured root cause techniquesLead process change reviews, risk assessments, and qualifications for new or optimized implant processesCollaborate with equipment engineering, integration, and vendors to align process requirements with tool capabilityImprove learning speed and cycle time through innovative use of inline metrology and data‑driven monitoringMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Materials, Physics, or related field)2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with implant process ownership or developmentOR equivalent military experience, OR Associate degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experienceAbility to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of ion implantation physics, dopant activation, and device impactExperience supporting high‑volume manufacturing with advanced process control requirementsProven track record to analyze complex data sets and drive decisions using statistical methodsFamiliarity with SPC, DOE, FMEA, and process qualification methodologiesProgramming or data analysis experience (e.g., Python, JMP, SQL)See more about Boise livingHow Micron engineers pave the way for semiconductorsAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
