Co-op, Media Relations
$23 - $27 per hourBiogen Inc
Six-month co-op position supporting Biogen's Global Media Relations and External Communications team. The role involves drafting communication materials, researching industry trends and journalists, analyzing company sentiment, and preparing briefing materials for executive engagements.
Responsibilities
- Draft press releases, social media posts, and communication materials for corporate announcements
- Research industry trends, key journalists, and external speaking opportunities
- Develop and analyze company sentiment using AI tools and platforms
- Create briefing materials and talking points for executive interviews and panel discussions
- Support media monitoring and collaborate cross-functionally on project deliverables
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in accredited college or university program
- Demonstrated interest in media, marketing, or science
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Research abilities and proficiency with digital tools for analysis
- Knowledge of digital platforms and social media
- Ability to work flexibly in fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders
Compensation: $23.00-$27.00 hourly
