Program Manager OpportunityGenesis10 is currently seeking a Program Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for overseeing a series of high-complexity projects across multiple departments and business units. The ideal candidate will assess and advise on improving current program and project management processes, mentor other project managers, and work closely with senior management to deliver on requirements.Responsibilities:Oversee a series of projects of high complexity across multiple departments and business unitsAssess and advise on improving process and methodologies of current program and project managementDevelop strategies, readiness assessments, training, and communicationsWork with project managers to identify and eliminate redundancies and duplications of effortsAct as a mentor to project managers and motivate them to build cooperative work teamsIdentify, develop, and direct team members' strengths, technological resources and organizational processes to build teamsDeliver requirements to senior managementAccurately estimate costs and develop and implement project plans within budgetary guidelinesRequirements:8+ years of relevant experience4-year degree or equivalent work experienceExtensive program management experience and PMP certificationAdvanced in the use of project management software and conceptsComprehensive knowledge of business unit's functionsExperience with Agile methodologies (Developer, Extreme Programming, Scrum Master)Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management, and organizational skillsComprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamicsProven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to changeProven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignmentsStrong communication skills to work with senior managementPay range: $52.54 - $60.54 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
