Miss Hall's School seeks an enthusiastic Cook to create and grow within our food program. This is a 12-month position. Responsibilities & Qualifications Prepare food according to standardized recipes and techniques Maintain kitchen organization and workflow Knowledge of cooking techniques including batch cooking, saut?, braising, sous vide, soups, stocks and sauces Experience with high volume kitchen Catering experience Fine dining experience Understand kitchen protocol Understanding of time management Ability to work well in a team ServSafe certification a plus Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community Commitment to the Miss Hall's School Mission and Core Values Research has shown that women, trans, non-binary, and BIPOC individuals often do not apply for jobs because they perceive their qualifications as falling short of the listed requirements, even when they may be sufficient.
