Job ID: 294759 Location: Kennesaw, Georgia Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Department: Health Promotion and Physical Education Job Summary Kennesaw State University is seeking a full‑time, non‑tenure track faculty member as Lecturer of Health Promotion and Physical Education. The preferred start date is August 2026. The position focuses on coaching, health and physical education teacher certification, and interdisciplinary health and physical activity leadership. This is a nine‑month contracted position for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses in the Health and Physical Activity Leadership program, including the Coaching Concentration and/or Health and Physical Education Teacher Certification Concentration. Provide service to the Department, College, University, and professional community as expected. Required Qualifications A minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Health and Physical Education or a closely related discipline, earned at the time of hire. OR a minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline, earned at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications Ability to teach Advanced Coaching Methods; experience as a coach at the high school varsity level or higher. Certified Health and Physical Education Teacher with interests in Early Childhood Physical Education and Adapted PE. Ability to contribute to program leadership. Record of teaching undergraduate courses. Required Documents to Attach Curriculum Vitae.
