JOB OVERVIEW: As an Assistant Account Manager in Mid-South Specialties, you will be responsible for any operational aspects of an account as well as day-to-day activities. This position will require a positive and coachable attitude to be successful. Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills are required. LOCATION : Duluth Georgia. This is an in-office position M-F WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Act as client advocate always.
- Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co-workers.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner. Strive to resolve all inquiries during first communication with client.

- Check Mailbox Daily
- Online Rating for Small Business
- Follow up for Renewal Policy Issuance
- Renewal Proposals
- Binders
- Invoicing
- Process Audits
- Post Documents to EPIC Portal
- Update Sagitta
- Obtain Loss Runs
- Policy Checklists
- Run M&S Reports
- Obtain Premium Finance Quotes
- Run MVRs
- Paperless Filing
- Obtain Loss Runs
- Create Loss Summary Tracking
- Prepare Acord Applications
- Become a student of the business. Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.
- High School / GED Education required/College Graduate Preferred
- P&C Insurance License or related work experience preferred.
- If not currently licensed, it must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, i.e., MS Office, Outlook, etc.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, listening and organizational skills.
- Strong Language, Mathematical, Analytical and Reasoning ability.
- Must be able to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to an inquiry.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
- Must possess attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Attend internal and external training classes and seminars.
- Must be able to keep information confidential.
COMPENSATION : The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
