Commercial Kitchen Service Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Part-Time Equipment Technician to support our restaurant locations in the Nashville area. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and performing light preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen and HVAC-related equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in appliance repair, restaurant equipment service, HVAC, or general mechanical maintenance who wants flexible part-time work. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Merrychef ovens Repair and maintain commercial toasters and small kitchen appliances Perform light preventative maintenance on: Air conditioning units Walk-in coolers Refrigeration equipment Replace minor parts (switches, fans, heating elements, belts, etc.) Identify issues before major breakdowns occur Coordinate with management when outside vendors are required Maintain basic service records for repairs and maintenance performed Qualifications Experience with commercial kitchen equipment preferred Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration helpful Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable working in restaurant environments Ideal Candidate Self-starter who doesn't need constant supervision Honest and dependable Good problem solver Available for on-call or flexible scheduling Interested in long-term part-time work What We Offer Flexible schedule Consistent part-time hours Opportunity for additional work as needed Support from management team Competitive hourly rate based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
