Health Systems Regional Scientific Director

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Heath Systems Regional Scientific Director to build relationships with healthcare decision makers in payer organizations and integrated delivery systems. The role provides scientific expertise on the company's MASH therapeutic and supports market access strategy across a defined region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in health systems, IDNs, and payer organizations
• Partner with account teams to develop strategic account plans and execute aligned medical activities
• Coordinate with regional medical science liaisons on scientific support needs for regional accounts
• Support HEOR activities and serve as technical resource for market access leadership and field teams
• Attend scientific meetings and prepare post-meeting deliverables

Requirements

• Clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience in IDN and payer organizations developing peer relationships
• Thorough knowledge of managed care, pharmacoeconomics, disease management, and real-world evidence
• Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA regulations and pharmaceutical industry ethical guidelines
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual platforms, Veeva Vault, and CRM tools
• Ability to travel up to 50% including weekend scientific meetings
