Requirements
- Unencumbered License/Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved Respiratory Care Program with the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or to be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or to be obtained within six (6) months of hire)
- At least one (1) year of experience in General Respiratory Care and Mechanical Ventilation

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory care procedures as ordered by the physician, with an emphasis on safety and competence.
- Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation in patients of various age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critically ill patients.
- Perform assessments, including interpreting blood work results, and make recommendations for therapeutic interventions based on patient respiratory status.
- Conduct arterial blood gas draws and maintain accurate documentation of all procedures in compliance with department policies.
- Provide effective airway management and assist with intubation as necessary.
- Participate in orientation and training of new employees and students in the department.

- Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to the organization's dress code and safety procedures.
