RN New Grad Residency Program / Medical-Surgical Unit

New Graduate RN Residency – Medical‑Surgical (36 hours, Permanent). The program begins with a 6‑month orientation that includes clinical mentorship, educational days, and preceptorship from Nursing Professional Development Specialists. Unit Opportunities Oncology Neurology Renal Geriatric & Cardiology Orthopedics Post‑Op Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the continuum. Coordinate interdisciplinary care and document nursing interventions and outcomes. Adhere to the nursing department model of care, agency policies, protocols, guidelines, and standards of practice. Report to the Unit Nurse Director. Qualifications Registered Nurse with BLS/CPR certification. Graduated from a nursing program within twelve (12) months before hire. NCLEX passed prior to interview. Flu shot required before start. Compensation Base salary range: $38,050 – $75,330. Compensation is based on education, experience, licensure, and certifications directly related to the role.
