What You'll Do

• Provide advanced critical care to adult surgical and medical ICU patients, including cardiac and neuro conditions
• Manage ventilators, assist with intubations/extubations, and monitor vasoactive drips
• Administer IV medications, manage CVLs, art lines, and EVD drains
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists
• Document patient care using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Support patient recovery during high-acuity shifts following established clinical protocols
• Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed, maintaining flexibility in coverage

What You Need

• RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years ICU experience in adult units
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with stroke, ventilator management, invasive lines, and critically ill patient care
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam before arrival

• Experience with neuro, cardiac, or trauma ICU patients
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
