As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and responding to alarm-related activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and unauthorized access. Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and assigned security-related systems in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents accurately. Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
