Shipping Associate

Shipping AssociatePrimary Staffing is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for accurately and safely preparing customer orders for shipment, including picking, packing, staging, labeling, and coordinating outbound orders. The Shipping Associate will also support inventory accuracy and work closely with production, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time.ResponsibilitiesPick and verify customer orders for accuracy.Pack products properly to prevent damage during transportation.Prepare orders according to customer and carrier requirements.Generate shipping labels and required shipping documentation.Stage completed orders for pickup and shipment.Coordinate outbound shipments with parcel and freight carriers.Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.Assist with receiving, stocking, and moving materials as needed.Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory.Report damaged materials and inventory discrepancies.Inspect outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shipping area.Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce errors.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.1–3 years of warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred.Manufacturing environment experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.Experience with shipping software, barcode scanners, and ERP/WMS systems is a plus.Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to become certified.Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday.Comfortable working in varying warehouse/manufacturing temperatures.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.PPE RequirementsPPE is required in all work areas.Gloves and safety glasses will be provided.Schedule & PayPay: $19.00/hourSchedule Options:6:00 AM–2:30 PMor7:00 AM–3:30 PM
