BHTs provide essential support to clients, help enforce facility rules, and document any incidents or behavioral concerns. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred, as the position may require transporting clients to and from appointments. This is a hands‑on role that requires compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
