Physical Therapy Assistant

Under the supervision of the Sr. Physical Therapists or Physical Therapist performs selected physical therapy treatments to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Associates degree of Science from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

No Experience Required (One year experience for Home Health)

Physical Therapy Assistant for the state of Florida.

BLS through American Heart Association or American RedCross (these are the only two providers that will be accepted.)

Enroll in Medical Dental Vision and other voluntary plans within 30 days of hire. Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following your start date.

403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match - Contribute 5% and receive up to 2.4% from Broward Health

Pension Plan - Eligible after one year of service. Receive 5% of your salary contributed from Broward Health with NO required contribution on your part to receive the 5% contribution. Fully vested after 5 years of service.

23 days per year to start. Accrues biweekly. Increases after five years of service. Available after a 90-day introductory period.

5 days in your first six months. Up to 15 days annually from six months through four years.
