We are currently seeking Journeyman Electricians to support the construction of some the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities.Project Assignments: Some of the largest data center and semi-conductor programs in the Southwest with years of backlog.Wages: We are offering a very competitive base rate plus incentive on participating projects.Hours: 50-Hour work weeks plus optional overtime.Other benefits we offer include one of the best employee referral bonus programs in the nation, PTO & Holiday Pay, medical, dental & vision insurance options, 401(K) contribution matching following six (6) months of employment.ResponsibilitiesDrive a growth-motivated and safety-first culture.Direct electrical construction work for assigned projects.Ensure professional resolution of escalated field-related issues and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and schedule.Enforce all NEC local codes and stay up to date on industry changes.Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problemsMeasures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminationsInstalls control and distribution apparatus' and fastens in placeTest and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components by testing and starting up systems andObserves functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacementMay be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipmentDisassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systemsOperate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical toolsQualifications5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experienceProficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standardsPossess strong expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade-related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and other safe work platforms and area.Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location.OSHA-10 Certification card preferred. Corbins will provide training for you to obtain this if you do not currently have itSafety Level: This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions.
