Complex Discovery Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Discovery Litigation Attorney to join its Los Angeles, CA office. This role offers hybrid work flexibility and requires at least 2+ years of experience. The attorney will support the Premises Liability Team, managing a diverse range of cases involving the defense of various businesses. The position involves engaging in all phases of litigation, focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals. Duties Analyze case facts and assist in developing litigation and discovery strategies. Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories and subpoenas. Assist in preparing for depositions and other discovery-related proceedings. Prepare discovery memoranda and meet-and-confer correspondence. Review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of California. 2+ years of civil litigation experience, with experience managing written discovery and disputes. Exceptional research and writing abilities, with strong analytical skills. Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
