As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related observations and/or actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, assist with visitor and staff directions, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with patients, visitors, staff, and first responders during routine operations and/or urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
