Overview Medicine-Pediatrics Physicians are needed for a dynamic 50/50 inpatient role at Medical City Dallas Hospital, a leading tertiary facility in Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional medical care to hospitalized pediatric and adult patients in a 50/50 inpatient setting. Collaborate with subspecialists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Work with nurses and support staff in both pediatric and adult care environments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-wide collaborative programs. Provide bedside education and mentorship to residents. Explore opportunities to develop new training programs, lectureships, and leadership roles. Position Profile Board certified or eligible Medicine-Pediatrics physicians with Med-Peds residency or equivalent training. Daily census details: Pediatric Hospital Medicine (20–30 patients shared by two physicians + APP in summer; 30–50 patients shared by three physicians + APP in winter). Adult Hospital Medicine (18–20 patients; nocturnist physicians and APP cover nights). 120 hours/month split evenly between both departments.
