Your impact We are looking for a passionate Senior Construction Director for our LSNA Northeast area who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This position will report to the Senior Director of Life Science North America Construction. As an important team leader, you will participate in the management and will be responsible of the design, coordination, execution and supervision of all technical and commercial aspects of the program including but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, ESG and Client Relations. But you’re not just a leader – you’re an achiever.  Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.  Responsibilities: • Manage a large EPCM opportunity, responsible for all technical and commercial aspects of the program including but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, ESG and Client Relations. • Responsible for monthly financial reporting requirements and forecasts. • Initiates / reviews / Approves all scope changes and or additional scope additions by the client.• Maintains positive relationships with current client as assigned. Informs Operations Manager and Sales Manager of potential opportunities to market Jacobs’s services.• Encourage the project team to seek opportunities to deliver superior customer value and earn client loyalty. • Serves as a representative of Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and reviews relative to assigned project.• Assures that program complies with the contract agreement as well as exercises rigid cost control to implement the approved design within established budget restraints.• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of program to ensure that goals/ of the individual project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for the entire program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.• Directs and coordinates activities of Site Construction Teams to ensure project progresses on program schedule and within prescribed program budget.• Develops and maintains effective communications and working relationships with client as well as staff Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural/Engineering/Construction Management or related discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree • At least 20 years of experience as Project or Construction Manager preferably in the Biopharma/Life Science Industry• Planning, project management, staff management, and business development experience is required• Must have strong project management skills and effectively manage scope, schedule, and budgets for large, complex projects.
