Christensen Farms is hiring Sanitation Technicians. These opportunities are full-time, benefit earning positions.Description:Ensure all trucks and trailers are washed in a timely manner in accordance with all biosecurity procedures and guidelines. Involves working in wet conditions while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and climbing in and out of trailers repeatedly.Duties:Proper cleaning and disinfecting of livestock trailersCleaning of pits and wash baysWashing of clothes and towelsCommunicate effectively with the Truck Wash Supervisor and other Wash and dry bay StaffFollow all wash Standard Operating ProceduresPerform light duty maintenance as neededInform Truck Wash Supervisor of equipment issuesSuggest, plan, and implement Standard Operating ProceduresAssist in providing a safe work environmentProvide feedback to Truck Wash SupervisorAssist Truck Wash Supervisor in ordering supplies to maintain appropriate inventoryCare and maintenance of equipmentQualifications:Position requires a minimum lifting ability of 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to learn new tasks and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision.
