HR Generalist

About the Role We’re looking for a people-focused HR Generalist to lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee development efforts across our organization. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you’ll partner closely with leaders to attract great talent, create a strong onboarding experience, and support employee growth and engagement. What You’ll Do Talent & Recruiting Lead full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and deliver quality hires quickly Build candidate pipelines and improve recruiting strategies Onboarding & Experience Own the onboarding experience from offer through Day 1 and beyond Ensure new hires are welcomed, prepared, and set up for success Continuously improve onboarding to drive retention Training & Development Coordinate training programs and track participation Support employee development and skill‑building initiatives Assist with performance management processes and communication Engagement & Culture Lead employee engagement initiatives and programs (including Merit Cares) Support a positive, connected workplace culture Partner with leaders to enhance team engagement and retention Manager Partnership Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers Provide guidance on recruiting, onboarding, and employee development Support day‑to‑day employee needs and elevate when appropriate What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of HR experience, with strong recruiting and onboarding background Experience in manufacturing or operations environment preferred Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Why Join Us High‑impact role with direct influence on hiring and employee experience Opportunity to shape onboarding, development, and engagement programs Collaborative leadership team and growing organization Clear role focus—partnering with leaders and employees, not buried in systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
