Concrete Form Carpenter

We are seeking skilled Form Carpenters to construct, align, and dismantle forms for a variety of concrete structures, assist with finishing poured concrete, and ensure high-quality results while strictly adhering to safety standards. Job Title Concrete Form Carpenter Employment Type Full-time Location State College, Pennsylvania Salary $20.00-$34.00 per hour (DOE) Duties and Responsibilities Build, set, and strip concrete forms for footings, walls, columns, decks, and slabs. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans. Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal formwork to specifications. Install braces, supports, and scaffolding to hold forms in place. Ensure forms are level, plumb, and properly aligned. Patch, repair, and clean forms for reuse. Assist with site layout and basic carpentry tasks as needed. Collaborate with foremen and other trades to meet schedule demands. Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in form carpentry. Current OSHA 10-hour certification preferred. Can safely lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders, stairs, and ditches. Must wear proper protective equipment at all times. Physical ability to work in demanding environments and lift heavy materials as required. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of concrete forming systems and methods. Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Basic math and measurement skills.
