Experienced Auto Glass Installation Tech

Overview As an Auto Glass Technician at Safelite, you will work on the front line of our service experience, leveraging our training and industry‑leading tools to complete vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration on premises and with our Mobile Glass Shop offerings. Responsibilities Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services in an efficient manner, prioritizing safety, quality, and exceptional customer service. Clean customer vehicles after every job. Recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot issues, and conduct diagnostic testing. Operate Safelite tools and technologies, including True Seal®, Ezi‑Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals, Safelite Way of Fitting procedures, work order and customer administration systems, and the handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology. Safely operate company and customer vehicles during the workday. Communicate with customers in person, via text, or phone; present and sell Safelite promotional items and services. Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards. Benefits Earn $5 per set of wiper blades when added for customer safety. Education & Credentials High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent (Preferred). Valid state‑issued driver’s license (Required). Safelite SafeTech™ certification (Required). Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience & Skills Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist the body, and work outside in various weather conditions. Proficiency with hand and power tools and motor vehicle operation under all applicable laws. Experience with computerized diagnostic tools to complete recalibrations. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot independently and collaboratively. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to maintain professional appearance per company uniform and PPE policies. Willingness to work scheduled days with flexible start and end times to meet customer needs.
