Physical Therapist (Per Diem) - Weekday

The Physical Therapist Weekday PD provides physical therapy services to individuals and their families in a team relationship with other health care providers in a setting that is designated by the department. Responsibilities Performs all functions associated with the evaluation of patients for all age groups within the department's responsibility. Performs all functions associated with the execution of therapeutic treatment for all age groups within the department's responsibility. Completes all documentation required within the regarded timeline according to department. Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.) This process includes communicating with the patient, parent and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.). Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Adheres to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school. Minimum 0 to 2 years experience. Licenses and Certifications Physical Therapist License. BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. Working Conditions Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
