Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Role: Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care in a healthcare setting, primarily focusing on hemodialysis treatment. Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops care plans, administers medications, monitors treatment, collects and analyzes patient data, and educates patients and families. Collaborates with the healthcare team, directs patient care activities, assists with emergencies, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations. May delegate tasks to care staff and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and nephrology or hemodialysis experience preferred. Entry-level RNs with less than 2 years of nursing experience are eligible. Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills are essential. Additional Requirements: Physical ability to perform patient lifting, prolonged standing, and equipment handling. Supervisory responsibilities include oversight of care staff after completing required training and experience.
