CONTRACTS & COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (e.g., NDAs, subcontracts, teaming agreements)
- Manage contracts from proposal through closeout ("cradle-to-grave")
- Interpret terms and conditions and advise internal stakeholders
- Support proposal development and pricing compliance
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other government regulations
- Monitor contract performance and identify compliance risks
- Maintain documentation for audits (e.g., DCAA, internal audits)
- Support export control and data protection requirements
- Partner with operations, finance, procurement, and sales teams
- Interface with U.S. government agencies, suppliers, representatives and customers
- Provide guidance on contractual risk and compliance strategy
- Track contract status, deliverables, and compliance metrics
- Develop and improve contract lifecycle processes
- Support internal training on compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related)
- 2-5+ years in government contracting
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract law basics
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
- Experience with ITAR/export compliance
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- ERP/contract management systems experience
- CPCM certification
- Contract negotiation & drafting
- Regulatory compliance & risk management
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Communication across technical and legal teams
