Solutions Engineer - Dallas

What is Bilt? Bilt is the membership for where you live. What is Bilt? Bilt is the membership for where you live. What started as a way to reward people on their largest expense has turned into an ecosystem connecting our members, property managers and local merchants. Travel, dining, fitness, everyday spend. We are building systems across payments, credit, loyalty, and commerce all at once. We run lean and move quickly. Every person here has a real impact on what gets built and how fast it happens. This role comes with real ownership and high expectations. If you prefer clearly defined lanes and structure, this will feel uncomfortable. If you want to build quickly, have a real say in what gets built, and work on products used by millions, you will likely do your best work here. What's the role? We're hiring our first Solutions Engineer to sit at the center of Bilt's Alliance and Enterprise Sales team. You'll be the technical counterpart to our Account Executives for large national property management companies — the person in the room who can answer any integration question, no matter which property management system or third-party platform is on the other side of the table. This is a build-the-function role. You'll own the technical story pre-sale and then stay with the partner through implementation: gathering API details, configuring integrations, and getting them fully launched and live. Roughly half your time is pre-sales — discovery, demos, solution design — and half is hands-on onboarding, much of it on-site with partners in Dallas. If you like being the person who both wins the deal and makes it actually work, this is that job. We are currently only seeking candidates who live in Dallas and are willing and able to travel to partners 100% of the time. In this role you will... Serve as the primary technical partner to Account Executives across enterprise deals with large national property management companies Lead technical discovery with prospects, mapping their property management system, ERP, and third-party integrations to Bilt's product and API surface Deliver tailored demos and solution designs that translate Bilt's platform into concrete outcomes for each partner's operating model Own post-sale implementation end to end — gathering API credentials and specs, configuring SFTP and API integrations, and driving partners to a live, launched state Build the Solutions Engineering function from the ground up: playbooks, technical assets, integration documentation, and a reusable knowledge base Answer deep, detailed integration questions from partner technical teams with credibility and speed Partner with Product and Engineering to advocate for integration work and product changes that unblock enterprise partners Travel to partner sites to hand-hold onboarding, run working sessions, and build trust with operators and their IT teams Complete RFPs, security reviews, and technical evaluations required to move enterprise deals forward In Terms Of Qualifications We're Seeking 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Solutions Architecture, ideally in a technical B2B SaaS environment Extensive hands‑on experience with API integrations, SFTP configurations, and building tailored technical solutions for complex customer requirements A track record of owning implementation and onboarding — not just handing off after the deal closes Ability to hold your own in detailed technical conversations with partner engineering and IT teams across unfamiliar third-party systems Strong commercial instincts — you can sell, not just support the sale Comfort making partners feel confident and taken care of through a complex technical rollout Willingness to travel up to 100%, primarily to partners in and around Dallas Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Based in Dallas, TX Nice To Have Deep knowledge of property management systems (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, MRI) Experience in proptech, fintech, or payments Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java) Experience with data integration platforms and ETL processes Experience standing up a Solutions Engineering function or process from scratch Benefits Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program Health insurance for you (& your loved ones) from day one - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, wellness stipends, family programs and more, on us. We've got you and your family covered from day one. 401k plan with a match - Retirement may feel more like a pipe dream than a reality but we're here to help you get there. Commuter FSAs - We believe the best ideas come from being together in one place. We just don't think getting there should be so expensive. UNLIMITED PTO - Because we believe that working hard shouldn't mean always working. Take time for you as often as you need it. Exclusive Employee-only Bilt Points - We give our employees unique opportunities to earn points throughout their time at Bilt. Team Events - We believe in human connection so we hold events to help our employees break from the monotony of the typical work week. At Bilt, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt's salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations. We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process. Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time. The salary range for a Solutions Engineer is $180,000-280,000 (location and experience dependent) and will be eligible for equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bilt
