What you'll need:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient nursing experience
• Proficiency in GI oncology patient care
• Strong CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent IV insertion skills
• Ability to perform laboratory tests, including blood glucose via glucometer
• Exceptional documentation skills within EPIC system
• Critical thinking and compassionate communication skills

Nice to have:

• Oncology nursing certification (ONS, OCN)
• Experience handling cardiac arrests and emergency procedures
• Familiarity with specimen collection procedures
• Additional certifications related to oncology or specialized nursing fields

Preferred education & experience:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, specifically in GI oncology settings
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, especially EPIC

Other requirements:

• Commitment to shift hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications as needed
• This position involves working with adult and geriatric patients, focusing on GI oncology care
