Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
This position is for experienced OR RNs providing perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role involves supporting various surgical specialties, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients.
Prepare operating rooms and equipment according to procedure requirements.
Assist in sterilization, supplies management, and room turnover to maintain efficiency.
Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs, to facilitate smooth procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
Complete all documentation accurately within the EMR system, including EPIC.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid RN license with 2-3 years of OR experience.
Have at least two previous travel assignments in perioperative care.
Possess BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
Demonstrate experience passing arms in and out for robotic surgeries.
Have ortho experience and familiarity with all surgical specialties listed.
Be comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations.
