As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in New Brunswick, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
