RN - CVICU - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for an ICU-trained RN with strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 6:45pm- 7:15am.
• Evaluate and continuously monitor patient progress in the ICU .
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and int er vene appropriately .
• Provide timely updates to physicians, patients, and family memb er s .
• Initiate treatments, administ er medications, and monitor dosing .
• Respond to medical em er gencies and activate appropriate clinical teams .
• Deliv er comprehensive care throughout the patient's ICU stay .
• Complete all required documentation prior to patient transf er
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of travel RN experience - required
• Active RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• CVICU experience - required
• Strong background in caring for critically ill cardiac and surgical patients
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular support therapies
