St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is seeking a PRN/Pool Pediatric Physical Therapist to support both pediatric and adult acute care populations. This role is ideal for a flexible, clinically strong therapist who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment. The therapist will primarily support pediatric patients while also floating to adult acute care as needed.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients across a wide range of diagnoses, including medical, surgical, and developmental conditions
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and provide evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs
• Accurately document patient care, progress, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards

Certifications and Licensures :

• Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required PT (Physical Therapy)
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

Requirements:

• Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy
• Preferred Master's Physical Therapy
• Preferred Doctorate's Physical Therapy
• Preferred 1-year Physical Therapist

Location: St Joseph's Main and Children's Hospital - Tampa, FL

Shift Hours: 8:00a to 4:30p (Fluctuation)/Days

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No
