Director of Emergency Services

The purpose of this role is to offer immediate support and aid to individuals affected by fires and other disasters through the 1-800-BOARDUP Victim Assistance Program. This involves actively educating key personnel such as fire departments, police, EMS, dispatchers, and the Red Cross, as well as the general public, about the 1-800-BOARDUP brand and its crucial victim services. Additionally, the role entails sponsoring or participating in local charity fundraising events. These events not only raise direct awareness for the 1-800-BOARDUP program but also generate funds for cherished charities, including the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Firefighter Cancer Support, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Project Fire Buddies and F.O.O.L.S. International Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week educating/marketing/conducting events unless otherwise agreed.On-call and ready to respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner (weather permitting) Wages Negotiable-This is a great position with flexible hours, marketing budget, car Allowance, Cell provided and a generous bonus structure. Responsibilities Attend and complete all aspects of the 1-800-BOARDUP training program Complete and document all items of 1-800-BOARDUP’s Onboarding Plan Prepare weekly activity reports to your direct report Work closely with company Estimator/Sales personnel and take responsibility to complete a proper hand off to the customer while staying involved until a level of comfort and trust has been established Outreach and networking with fire departments to educate them about the Company’s BOARDUP program Participating in local charity fundraising events to create direct awareness of the BOARDUP program On-scene response activities, which includes providing rest and recovery assistance to firefighters, as well as providing victim assistance, including storing valuables and providing hotel and meal vouchers Such other duties as may be assigned by the Company in its sole discretion We are extremely proud to be a 5-Bugle Corporate Partner of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and partners with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Firefighter Cancer Support Network, International F.O.O.L.S.
