Production Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Lead to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits. Job Title: Production Lead (DIRECT HIRE) Location: Owatonna, MN Pay Range: $27-$28 plus $3K Sign-On Bonus Shift: Second Shift: 4:00PM to 2:30AM, Monday - Thursday with optional overtime What’s the Job? Ensure preparation, mixing, and agglomeration are completed according to customer instructions. Operate all processing equipment and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise within the blend areas. Sterilize raw products using processing units, maintaining product purity from start to finish. Verify ingredients, record data accurately, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor process controls, document parameters hourly, and take immediate action on any out-of-spec conditions. What’s Needed? High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience in food or chemical manufacturing is ideal. Ability to operate and clean multiple processing systems, achieving competency in at least three. Strong adherence to GMPs and food safety policies. Proficiency with MS Office; SAP software experience is a plus. What’s in it for me? Competitive hourly pay rate within the specified range.
