Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Clementon, New Jersey

Seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead daily pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance in a bilingual community pharmacy setting. This contract role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in community pharmacy management who is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Location: Clementon, NJ
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, taking a lead role in addressing any investigations related to improper activity.
- Oversee and guide pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, providing training and supervision to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures that promote safe, accurate, and secure medication dispensing.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, maintaining precise records and ensuring safe storage of all medications, with special focus on controlled substances.
- Drive patient safety and quality initiatives, including performance improvements and patient counseling to optimize care delivery.
- Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy management experience.
- At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX software.
- Comfortable working with a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts per day and supported by efficient pharmacy technicians.
