Consistent full time schedule Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and paid holidays Collaborative multidisciplinary therapy team Professional development and continuing education opportunities Career growth within Rehab Without Walls Responsibilities Provide individualized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients Develop and implement goal driven treatment plans Support the development of fine motor, sensory, self care, and daily living skills Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to achieve meaningful outcomes Educate caregivers on strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist in Washington Passion for pediatric therapy and family centered care Strong communication and collaboration skills Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing Current CPR Certification A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interaction Ability to lift 50 pounds Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times Additional Job Information Rehab Without Walls Pediatric Therapy Center 20818 44th Avenue W.
