Luxor Staffing is hiring Assembly Operators paying $17-$22 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job duties:

• Assist with pressing, batching, assembly, and packaging processes according to written work instructions and engineering data.
• Determine and verify the correct components and materials required for each production process.
• Load, weigh, mix, transfer, and handle materials as required by established procedures.
• Safely move materials and finished products using dollies, carts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
• Operate production equipment, hand tools, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Assemble components according to written instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections, in-process testing, and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Handle explosive powders and components in accordance with all applicable work instructions and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate tools to cut pallet bands and scoop or transfer mixing powders as required.
• Accurately weigh the appropriate amount of material needed for each process step.
• Complete production, quality control, inventory, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Pack completed products according to established work instructions and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Immediately report production, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the shift supervisor.
• Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and 100% cotton clothing when working in detonator production areas , as required.
• Cross-train in other areas of the department and other product lines throughout the plant.
• Support team operations and work overtime when required.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or quality control experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools are beneficial.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability and willingness to learn new processes and complete required training and certifications.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
