HCS is hiring experienced Pipe Welders for a large scale commercial project in Chattanooga, TN! Candidates will be responsible for various types of preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to complete project to customer specifications. Responsibilities:

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints
• Attach pipes to structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other method.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Pre-Employment Screening
• Relevant Experience 2+ years
• 6G Welding Certification
• Ability to stand, stoop bend, kneel and squat, work at heights and climb ladders throughout the day for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day
