Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Westland, MI. As a Caregiver, you will support individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and caring manner. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Offer companionship and engaging activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients’ conditions promptly.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid driver's license or transportation may be required depending on assignment.
