The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health invites qualified professionals to apply for the position of Licensed Clinical Therapists II - Innovative Remote Onsite Delivery (InnROADs). InnROADs is a voluntary, client-centered outreach and engagement program that provides field-based services to individuals with untreated mental illness and who are experiencing homelessness. This Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) funded program consists of multidisciplinary/interdepartmental collaboration between the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS), Department of Public Health (DPH), and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD). The InnROADs program is an intensive, field-based engagement model that meets with individuals experiencing homelessness at their location, coordinating mental health services as needed. These Licensed Clinical Therapist II positions provide clinical oversight and supervision to pre-licensed and certified staff that are field-based, as well as administrative support to the Mental Health Clinic Supervisor. This position is a great step to becoming a leader within the Department and offers the opportunity to mentor and coach those beginning their careers in behavioral health. The teams collaborate closely with law enforcement, Office of Homeless Services (OHS), and other behavioral health programs to support individuals living with serious mental illness who are at‑risk of homelessness, are homeless, or are chronically homeless living in the County’s remote and rural areas. The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is responsible for providing mental health and substance use disorder services to county residents who are experiencing major mental illness or substance abuse related issues. DBH provides mental health and substance use disorder prevention and treatment services to all age groups, with a primary emphasis on treating children/youth who may be seriously emotionally disturbed, adults who are experiencing a serious and persistent mental illness, and individuals who are experiencing substance use disorders. DBH also provides an array of outreach/engagement, prevention, and early intervention services. DBH's core values are service , integrity , accountability , and trust . CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pre-Employment Process Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting and medical exam, which may include drug and/or TB testing. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent U.S. resident. Clinical Supervision Differential Clinical therapists currently providing clinical supervision to Pre-Licensed Clinical Therapists or Pre-Licensed Psychologists are eligible for additional compensation. Shifts Some programs offer 24-hour services; some assignments may require employees to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call. Travel Travel throughout the County may be required depending on assignment. Employees will be required to make provision for transportation (mileage reimbursement at current IRS rate is available). A valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced and maintained for the individual providing the transportation. Sponsorship Please note San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future. License Must be licensed in the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). A copy of license is required upon appointment. Licensure must be active, unrestricted, and in good standing. Experience One (1) year, within the last five (5) years, of direct service post-license experience as a licensed therapist in a behavioral health or social service setting. Note: Application must clearly distinguish between pre-licensed and post-licensed experience. Bilingual Skills Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring the use of bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills is required to receive additional compensation.
