Job Description & Skill Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Design and support test equipment, PLC/HMI systems, electrical systems, and testing protocols.
- Troubleshoot plant test equipment and electrical systems while ensuring OSHA and electrical safety compliance.
- Develop equipment specifications, support capital equipment selection, and manage testing/controls projects.
- Perform root cause/failure analysis and drive corrective actions using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, suppliers, and customers.
- Lead continuous improvement, cost-out, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop project plans, budgets, work breakdown structures, and stakeholder communication plans.
- Support change management and MOC processes within manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field.
- 3+ years of Test/Controls Engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Experience with PLC, HMI programming, and safety systems.
- Experience with Rockwell Software, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, Microsoft applications, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
- Strong electrical testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma or Green/Black Belt certification is a plus
