Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations within the cable industry. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing cable products, materials, and related inventory while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming cable products, reels, materials, and shipments; inspect for quality and quantity accuracy. Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer and company requirements. Accurately label, scan, and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems. Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for cable reels, wire products, accessories, and related inventory. Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Inspect cable products and materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and ensure records are accurate. Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet shipping deadlines and customer expectations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred; cable, manufacturing, or industrial distribution experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification). Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems or warehouse software. Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and product labels. #J-18808-Ljbffr Peyton Resource Group
