Job Summary Imperial Electric Elevator, an Nidec Company, custom manufactures special application AC and DC motor systems for the elevator/escalator industry, offering products such as hydraulic motors, permanent magnet door operator motors, AC and DC elevator motors, AC induction motors, generator sets, ACPM Gearless Traction Machines, and Geared Traction Machines. Job Description Manage daily activities of shipping functions. Ensure that shipments are delivered per documented customer requirements. Maintain and improve procedures to continuously improve the shipping process. Work with carriers and customers simultaneously to ensure customer delivery satisfaction. Verify customer delivery requirements by communicating directly with the customers' purchasing departments. Additional Job Details Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with minor impact on achievement results for the team. Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Work consists of tasks that are routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions. Work is closely supervised. Communicates with contacts typically within immediate job area on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation. Responsible for checking data and information or troubleshooting when minor changes may be required based on review. Daily challenges faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed.
