Responsibilities The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education * Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program Required Licenses * ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred) OR * ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date * Current BLS required Required Skills * Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters * Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements * Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety * Emergency response * Attention to detail * Critical thinking and problem-solving * Time management * Empathy and patient care * The ability to work independently and work well with team members. * Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams Essential Functions * Perform MRI Examinations * Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort * Administration of Contrast Media * Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards * Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team * Document and Manage Patient Information * Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility * Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards * Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency Qualifications * One year of MRI experience Compensation details: 38.67-54.14 PIb82b99802682-29400-39715078
